What Friends are for ...
The Moultonborough Library is the community's primary center for information, a wealth of great literature, and wholesome activities for all ages.
The support of the Friends is vital to the Library's continuing ability to keep pace with the needs and interests of our diverse growing community. The Friends sponsor a variety of events such as; The NH Humanities Council Book Discussions, book and poetry discussion groups, the Children's Summer Reading Program amd MCS Book Companion Book Club. Friends' membership annual dues and fundraising efforts also provide essential items for the Library such as; computers, books, Science Center passes and many more items.
This is an exciting time to become a Friend. There is a greater need for additional Friends support and hands-on participation with the expansion of the Youth Services Area and the new Program Room. There are exciting opportunities to share information about what you enjoy and are interested in. After all, isn't that what Friends are for?
Please join this special group of Friends. You can choose the level of support that works best for you, ranging from a member donation to active involvement as a volunteer as well.
