InterLibrary Loan Services
If there is a book, audiobook, DVD, or magazine article that you need or want and we don't have it, we will be happy to borrow it from another library in New Hampshire, if available. Thanks to the State Library computer system, we can search the holdings of over 200 public, school, and academic libraries statewide for the item you need. The State Library also operates a service that picks up and delivers interlibrary loan materials, which stops here twice weekly, and we can usually borrow needed items within seven to ten days.
Just give us a call, or stop by the front desk and fill out a form with your name, contact information, and the details of the item that you need, and we will let you know when it arrives. Most interlibrary loans can be checked out for three or four weeks, depending on the lending library. To be courteous to other libraries, we do not request books that have been published within the last six months.
