Books for Sale

The library has an annual two-day book sale on the weekend closest to the Fourth of July holiday, in the library parking lot under two large tents, rain or shine. All hardcovers are $1.00, paperbacks 50 cents, with markdowns on the second day of the sale. We accept donations of good, clean, usable books year-round during regular library hours, and we usually have over 900 boxes of books sorted into categories for the sale, which nets about $7500 annually for various library projects, besides getting a lot of books back into circulation. Books for children and adults, fiction and nonfiction, hardcover and paperback, are all for sale and there's something for everyone. Games, puzzles, DVDs and audiobooks are also included in the sale. Volunteers are welcome and needed to make the sale possible. Please call the library at 476-8895 if you are able to help move boxes of books, fill the sale tables, or act as a cashier.

We also have two paperback racks in the library near the front desk where donated books are for sale year-round. Trade paperbacks are $1.00 and mass-market paperbacks are 50 cents.
